What is a CVV2 number?

Your CVV2 number is the final 3 digits found in the signature box on the back of most credit and debit cards. CVV stands for Card Verification Value and is used as a security measure for online transactions.

Please note: If you have an American Express card, you'll find your CVV2 number on the front of the card; it will be a 4-digit code.
