R. J. Reynolds Vapor Company (RJRV) is aware that some Vuse Alto products may contain e-liquid appearing darker
than usual. Our product development and quality control teams have investigated this matter and have not found
any quality issues with the product related to discolored liquids; the discoloration is cosmetic in nature. This means
the discoloration should not impact the consumer experience.
“Why does the liquid change color?”
Liquids can change color when they are exposed to light or as they age. This is normal and does not represent an
issue with the performance of the product.
If the discoloration of Vuse Alto Pod e-liquid causes an age 21+ adult tobacco consumer (ATC) to attempt to return
product purchased in your store/account, your first action should be to direct the ATC to contact RJRV’s Consumer
Relations team by calling the toll-free number printed on the product packaging (1-877-614-8873).
